Mount Lehman Community Hall – Dog Sport Trial and Training Event

I, the undersigned, acknowledge that participation in dog training, competitions, trials, and related activities involves inherent risks to myself, my dog, spectators, and other participants. I understand that the premises, activities, animals, equipment, and people present at the event may pose risks including, but not limited to: dog bites, falls, collisions, equipment hazards, slippery indoor and outdoor surfaces, uncontrolled dogs, and other activities involving dogs that may result in serious injury or death.

I understand that serious accidents can and do occur during dog sport events and training.

Assumption of Risk

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in this event, including risks arising from the actions or negligence of other participants, spectators, volunteers, staff, dogs, or third parties. I accept full responsibility for the conduct and control of myself and my dog at all times.

I acknowledge that I am participating at my own risk.

Release and Waiver of Liability

In consideration for being permitted to participate in this event, I, on behalf of myself, my spouse, minor children, heirs, assigns, and anyone I bring onto the premises, hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless:

• The Alpha Snails

• Mount Lehman Community Hall

• Event organizers, hosts, judges, decoys, volunteers, staff, and contractors

• Property owners and venue representatives

• Any affiliated clubs, sponsors, or governing organizations

from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, injuries, costs, or liabilities of any kind, including property damage, theft, personal injury, or death, whether to myself, my dog, or any third party, arising out of or related to participation in this event.

This release applies to any cause of injury, except those caused by intentional or reckless misconduct.

Waiver of Duty to Warn

I acknowledge that the property owners and organizers have no duty to warn me of any dangerous conditions, activities, or hazards on the premises, and I waive any such duty to warn.

Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the released parties from any claims, damages, or legal costs arising from my actions or the actions of my dog.

Compliance and Control

I agree to maintain complete control of myself and my dog at all times and to comply with all event rules, venue policies, and applicable governing body regulations. I acknowledge that I have read and understand the applicable trial rules.

Non-Refundable Participation

I acknowledge that registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Severability

If any portion of this waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Acknowledgment and Agreement

By signing below, I confirm that:

• I have read and understood this waiver

• I understand that I am giving up legal rights

• I am signing this voluntarily and without coercion
